After World War II, the United States entered a prosperous era known as the Golden 50 Years,
and the 1950s were filled with economic growth.
The open-collar shirts that became popular during this era
were known as sports shirts and rockabilly shirts,
becoming widely enjoyed and an iconic style of the time.
This open-collar shirt features a relaxed,
boxy silhouette inspired by that era.
The round flap pockets, cropped length,
and slightly smaller collar
are styles unique to the historical background.
The volume of the collar, sleeves, and flaps is carefully preserved,
and the shirt is meticulously finished using flash interlining,
which requires high-level craftsmanship. The pockets are cut on the bias,
and the back yoke is pattern-matched.
Features a black Glen check on a blue base.
The dry texture of the cotton-linen blend
makes it an ideal material, especially for the height of summer.
This is a long-sleeve style.
ABOUT FABRIC
